2012 in review!

2012 ended up being the biggest year for BASIXclothing EVER.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Because of your generous support I was able to keep growing the BASIX collections and offer even more fun and edgy styles.

So here's the year of 2012 in review.
.
.
.
.
.
I started off the year with my first Monster High repaint. I gave her new mohair and a OOAK BASIX outfit. She was a lot of fun and I hope to do a few more this year.

.
.
.
My second repaint got mohair dreadlocks and a monochromatic look.

.
.
.

For Febuary I debuted a raglan sleeve dress with tulle belt.  So fun.

.
.
.
.
When Lizette came out, I had to get one to repaint.
She is such a beautiful sculpt and I had fun making her a platinum wig.
 .
.
.
.
.
Spring saw a new line of metallic jeans. They were available in gold, silver, and copper.
Copper proved to be the most popular choice, but I was partial to gold.
 .
.
.
.
.
In late spring the long denim skirts came out.  Inspired by a picture on pinterest, I had to try my hand at them.  They were a lot of work, but turned out to be pretty popular.

 .
.
.
.
.
Summer 2012 brought neon brights and the still popular Any Color Painted Jeans.
 .
.
.
.
.

These denim and leather shorts were the most popular of all the summer items.
I made over 30 pairs of them that summer before they were sold out.
 .
.
.
.
.
The ZOMBIE line of fashions is still my most popular.  The ZOMBIEjeans got a makeover and have been the most popular yet, and still continues to be a leader in sales.
 .
.
.
.
.

Late summer saw my first foray into corsets, starting with a summer corset dress.
These were so fun to put together and opened the door to many different corset styles.
 .
.
.
.
.
The corsets started the corset of the month club, which came to a screeching halt around October,
but will resume in January with lots of fun designs.

.
.
.
.
.

BASIX also introduced summer bikini tops in a few different styles.
 .
.
.
.
.

There were a few OOAK items added to the list, including these multi layered corsets and dresses.
.
.
.
.
.
Halloween is always fun and in September I unveiled the wild ZOMBIEcorsets with tails.

 .
.
.
.
.
There were also a couple One of a Kind Halloween outfits in the mix.
Filling those orders kept me busy until mid-November...
.
.
.
.
.
Late in Fall I was able to fiddle with my basic corset pattern to make this
very popular high neck corset.  It took a lot of blood, sweat, and tears to develop and
is my most labor intensive item to make, but it is so worth it!
 .
.
.
.
.

Early December I was able to make the limited edition Sweet Treats dress collections.
Each was made with a corset base and came with knee length leggings.

Again, thank you SO MUCH for your support of my little BASIX world.
I'm ramping up for some great items in 2013 and working on my goals and time
management to make 2013 even better!

THANK YOU!
