I've been having a blast for the last few months editing my photographs with Picnik.com.
I just have the free version (but am seriously considering the full version!) and have been adding fliters, layers and text all in a completely simple, user friendly format. (No, I'm not getting paid by them, just LOVE the program... and that it's FAH-REE!!)

Great after pictures! I have another program that I use that I bought long before Picnik came on the scene. I have never considered using layers before. I may have to give it a try.
